All Mi Woods illustrations are reflections of nature and its patterns. While experimenting with traditional painting on water technique, colour flow on water creates unique and organic patterns, which are captured by placing a paper on top. From these unpredictable results Mi Woods grow its nature objects - handmade paper cut illustrations, full of textural ornaments which recall leaf veins, ground surface, flower pollen or tree bark.
